This quote has been prepared based on the number of passengers and activities included. Any changes in the number of participants or itinerary (additions or reductions) may result in a price adjustment according to the updated requirements.
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the tour. This deposit covers administrative fees, commissions, and processing costs and cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice, particularly during periods of high demand.
If full payment (100%) is made in advance, the following cancellation policy will apply:

All tour cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: nefi@makeyourowntour.com. The following terms will apply:
Cancellations made 16 days or more before the tour date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
Cancellations made between 15 and 4 days before the tour date are eligible for a refund, minus a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 3 days of the tour date are non-refundable.
However, tours may be rescheduled (subject to availability) if requested at least 10 days in advance.
We do not offer cash refunds. There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows. Payments are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled tour within one year from the original date.
No exceptions will be made to this policy for any reason, including weather conditions or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance through your travel provider to protect against unforeseen changes, cancellations, medical emergencies, lost/damaged items, or delays.
We strive to provide the best possible experience on every private tour. However, we kindly inform our guests that no partial refunds or compensations will be issued for changes or interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Weather conditions (e.g., rain, storms, excessive heat)
Road closures or traffic delays
Guest decisions to skip or shorten parts of the itinerary
Local restrictions or unforeseen site closures
Once the tour has commenced, choosing to skip an activity, reduce the duration, or return early does not qualify for a refund, as all services, transportation, staff, and entrance fees have already been reserved and paid for in advance.
We thank you for your understanding and flexibility, especially when adapting to conditions that may affect your comfort or safety.
If Make Your Own Tour needs to cancel a tour due to operational reasons, all payments made will be fully refunded. This refund will constitute a full settlement. Alternatively, clients may choose to reschedule or apply the payment to another tour within one calendar year.
Please note that Make Your Own Tour is not responsible for additional expenses related to canceled trips, including but not limited to airline tickets, accommodations, or travel delays.
For last-minute bookings, full payment is required in advance to confirm the service.
Due to the urgency and additional logistical efforts involved in arranging transportation, guides, and tickets on short notice, the final price may differ from the published rate. This adjustment helps cover extra operational costs such as overtime, special coordination, or limited availability.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we will always strive to provide the best possible service, even under tight timelines.
The vehicle that will pick you up at your hotel may have the logo of Make Your Own Tour and our staff will wear a T-shirt with our logo in the chest area.
We will make your pick up at the scheduled time according to your reservation, and in case We have waited a maximum of 30 minutes and we do not have any news from you, we will proceed with our no-show policy.
No-shows or late arrivals – no refund
Full refund if the cruise misses port or is canceled, up to the day of cruise arrival.
All prices are quoted in US dollars but charges will be made to your credit card in Mexican Pesos. We use the bank exchange rate of the day so that your bank statement reflects the published dollar price.
