Tour Details

Welcome to the Tulum and Grand Cenote Tour! Get ready to embark on an exciting adventure that combines the ancient wonders of Tulum with the natural beauty of the Grand Cenote.

Your journey begins in the picturesque town of Tulum, located on the eastern coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. Tulum is famous for its well-preserved Mayan ruins perched on a cliff overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. As you explore the ruins, your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating stories and insights about the ancient Mayan civilization that once thrived in this area. Marvel at the impressive architecture and learn about the historical significance of the temples and ceremonial structures that make up this archaeological site.

After immersing yourself in the rich history of Tulum, it’s time to cool off in the refreshing waters of the Grand Cenote. A cenote is a natural sinkhole formed by the collapse of limestone bedrock, revealing a stunning underground pool. The Grand Cenote is considered one of the most beautiful cenotes in the region, boasting crystal-clear waters and intricate rock formations. Take a dip in the cool water, snorkel among the colorful fish, or simply relax on the wooden platforms surrounding the cenote, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.

Throughout the tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the unique ecosystem surrounding the cenote. Your guide will provide insights into the local flora and fauna, explaining the importance of cenotes as a water source and habitat for various species.

The tour is designed to provide a perfect balance between cultural exploration and natural beauty, allowing you to immerse yourself in both the historical and natural wonders of the Tulum region. Soak up the beauty of the ancient ruins, enjoy the refreshing dip in the Grand Cenote, and create unforgettable memories in this enchanting corner of Mexico.

If you are looking to do more activities during the day, or in case you have something else in mind, you can send us email and we’ll customize your tour. At the end this package is just a idea.
